An information security concepts guide designed specifically for Taiwanese civil society organizations. The guide is divided into five chapters that align with the most common digital use cases in daily work, helping readers quickly grasp essential, practical information security principles. The CSCS community assists civil society organizations lacking technical resources with three types of support: (1) information security training, (2) device security checkups, and (3) security incident consultations. More details

Cybersecurity Protection¶

Cloudflare Galileo¶

Provides cybersecurity protection for websites run by organizations engaged in human rights, civil society, journalism, or democracy-related work, effectively reducing the risk of malicious traffic attacks. More details

Malicious Traffic Monitoring¶

Network traffic on each device (computer, smartphone, tablet) will be logged via a VPN connection, and packet inspection will be used to detect any anomalous traffic. Monitoring is expected to run continuously for 72 hours, operating 24/7. More details

Research Report¶

Digital Security for Human Rights and Democracy Advocates¶

This project uses surveys (35 organizations and activists) and in-depth interviews (3 high-risk human rights defenders) to map the current state of digital security among human rights workers in Taiwan and to identify comprehensive approaches to reducing digital threats. The project produces a report and a practical toolkit. Learn more

Open Tech Garage¶

Open Tech Garage is an open-source software evaluation project jointly initiated by the Open Culture Foundation (OCF) and the WPI Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) program, with support from APC. By combining academic rigor with hands-on testing, the project provides transparent, security- and privacy-focused tool evaluations to help users with diverse technical backgrounds make informed choices. Incident Reporting and Analysis¶

Provides reporting services for phishing emails and various suspected information security incidents. When encountering suspicious emails or anomalies, you can submit information to receive a rapid assessment and handling recommendations. More details
